dip the springs in thick grease push them in place then put clutch bell housing over them i usually have my plates sat on the bar you compress with so as soon as you put pressure on the bell you slide each one down
I've tried gaz they seemed to hold for a second then drop down, even a bit of loctite, might invent a tool lolgarry inglis wrote:dip the springs in thick grease push them in place then put clutch bell housing over them i usually have my plates sat on the bar you compress with so as soon as you put pressure on the bell you slide each one down

never had a problem with this even with the bike upright.
Simply put all your plates (corks and steels etc) on your clutch compressor and give it a bit of tension so the top plate is slightly compressed. The feed your springs in and seat them, followed by your plates. Tighten up the compressor then add the circle.
