Stuck panels any tips

Any tips on how to remove stuck panel handles.Ive got the actual handle off it's the actual bit which goes into the panel will not twist round tried maul grips will not move.Rusted in I think!

Heat it up support the bracket with two bits of wood and tap it through with a hammer
