i have a lambretta lui 50cl that is almost ready for the m.o.t. it did not need a speedo because it did not go that fast and so it is blanked off as standard.
now it is fitted with a 75cc cometa engine does that mean it has to have a speedo fitted?

Bike has to be over 100cc for a speedo to be mandatory to be fitted.
Pre 1936 also exempt.
Speedos if fitted are supposed to be working, but they aren't tested anyway.
