Having a bit of difficulty finding out the year of manufacture for an Indian GP/Vijay frame.
The number is 1055**-78
Apparently the last two numbers denote the country of destination for export but no '78' is listed.

I thought it was model - two digit country code - frame number.

Mines 104324-78 got a letter of dating from lambretta club and it's a 1978
