Rings & Nicosil

QUESTION....???? How long do rings last in a Nicosil barrel ???? I know it's like asking how long a piece of string is, but there must be ball park figures out there, ''sick of F*^king thinking about it''!!!!! cheers peeps.... :?:

5000 miles, is what I was told by the dealer who sold me the kit.........

In all seriousness though....draw up a list:

This is not exhaustive nor in order of importance...

Ring brand (Wiseco wire rings vs cheap, thick, brittle rings).
Ring thickness
Ring gap
Port widths and dimensions
Kit
Piston
Piston to bore clearance
RPM range rings are expected to run in (6000 rpm peak, Wiseco 1mm wire rings, on a kit with small ports, running good oil on a low power engine vs.....the exact opposite.)
And of course......filtered or unfiltered?
