engine casing

Hi all

double check can i use a GP crank and Gp flyweel on a small block li casing, how about drive seal plate etc?

any info be great

Yes you can use them no problem you will need the GP bearings however which are slightly wider so you omit the bearing spacer on the drive side.

The LI bearing is slightly narrower and uses a spacer the GP one is wider and doesent.

ok .....If i use gp crank gp flywheel ,,,, why would i need a li bearing ......its the casing which takes different size bearing ?

No, you use the GP bearing with the GP crank. Originally you would have had a bearing that needs a small spacer as the LI bearing isn't as wide. GP bearing is wider so your original spacer is not needed.

The LI bearing is the same size diagonally as the GP one but is not as thick. The spacer takes up the gap between it and the mag housing. As the GP bearing is thicker there is no gap so no spacer is required. I hope that makes sense now?
