Lambretta crank
Hi, I,ve blown my engine up and sheared the sx crank so I,m looking to upgrade to a gp crank. I,m looking to replace it with a mec-euro item , is this I a good crank ? and also they sell them in two sizes , which one is suitable for my engine , all standard internal set up with ally barrel 225 kit 30mm delly and sterling exhaust , cheers
Blimey Woody. With that kit, I'm surprised the SX crank lasted 5 minutes.

Yeah decent enough for what you need... Glasgow Lambretta have got them cheap as chips... Youll also need to change the magside bearing etc, and your flywheel...woody wrote:Hi, I,ve blown my engine up and sheared the sx crank so I,m looking to upgrade to a gp crank. Sorry to jump in on your post, I've got a sterling exhaust to put on my gp and a 26mm carb would this be OK on crank and piston

Yes mate I believe it would as I use a similar set up on one of my other scoots
The mec crank would be fine and are good value. Got the 60/107 from glasgow lambretta a couple of years ago and used it in an imola with no issues
Ordered the 58x107 crank today £100 posted to me . cheers peeps
