FINALLY CRACKED IT (I THINK)

For anyone interested:-
Looks like I've solved the 'pinking' problem with the Casa 210 Road kit. It was probably a combination of weak mixture/acoustics from the alloy head/barrel.
Fitted a 55 pilot jet, 5899-2 atomizer, 130 main jet to SH2/22 carb. Tinkling sound still faintly there but plug now showing deep brown (NGK B8ES), engine very responsive and reasonably crisp, steady idle and easy starting.
Kit nearly bedded in (110miles), pulls like a train compared to the iron barrel......its like riding a 150 on 125 gears so will need to raise gearbox ratios from 5.22 to about 4.9 I think.

Could you excuse my ignorance, is the 210 Casa kit a reed valve?

No, piston ported with 'boost port'?
