Are there any set measurements /wear limits for the fingers of the gear selector? Mine is rounded...
Replace or is it OK? Will be in a non tuned engine

It doesent seem to have to much wear unlike mine that started jumping out of gear so I'd use it if you have no gear jumping issues.

Found a SIL one for £25 so for the time and hassle of changing it if it does jump in a year or 2 I don't mind the small cost

a good plan, i would have changed it as well, you know it will last longer with a new one.

Compare the smoothness of the track that the bearings run on with the original. I had a SIL one that had a rough track which made gear changes a nightmare.

SIL ones can be very crotchety. I'm using one. And while it has improved with wear I still can't get it into first gear without the engine rolling.
