Put a new shaft on my gp after lots of messing around getting it right it superb for a week now it sounds like I've got a load of wasps inside the casing, it goes as soon as you put it in gear I'll try and get a video later

The pin in the kickstart piston could have come loose allowing the teeth to move out catching 1st gear

It will if it comes out and gets stuck in the gears or chain can you remember if you really tightend it up but it might not be the pin it was just a suggestion I would probably take out the magnetic oil plug and see if there are any metal bits on it if there is then you are going to have to look inside
