One day my speedo seized operations!
I started the fault diagnosis from top to bottom.
Speedo is Ok. Both speed and odometer works.
Cable is attached and turns freely and the speedo moves when i turn the cable by hand.
Removed the drive which was completely over greased. it kind of looked ok at first glance but revealed to bad threads.
Replaced it to a new one. Replaced the holder from plastic to a metal one.
The new drive didn't drive the cable at all. Tried to check it it was moving when I turned the wheel but it did not.
Opened up the wheel hub to se the threads on the other drive. It is ok and compared to the pictures on Sticky's book it is placed correctly.
It has worked perfectly up until now when it just suddenly seized operations. It didn't slowly die.
And even with the replacement parts nothing changes.
Any ideas, tips or experiences on this?
Speedo drive.

Check that the speedo inner cable is engaged in the worm drive inside the brake hub, if not you may have to shorten the outer cable a little (ensure that the inner cable is withdrawn first).
You may have put the brass 'olive' right at the end of the outer cable and may need to move it back a little to get the inner cable to seat fully in the drive.
Anyone else?

the speedo drives don't drive each others. If i put the small drive in, turn the wheel then it doesn't turn.
