I have SIP rims on my GP therefore larger studs. will a standard split rim fit? Or will I have to change the studs back? Reason for the question is I want to carry a split rim spare to save space.... :?

I expect it would if you don't use domed nuts and a deep socket to change over.

Have you tried it?

Msg corrado on here he supplied me with the nuts for this reason. Think the sip nuts will bottom out on split rims.

Just use open nyloc nuts, but dont use dome nuts as they will bottom out.

Studs are the same but with longer threads, riding the special at moment with long studs in rear hub and split rims for past 18 months, waiting for existing tyres to wear out then put sips on.
