Bajaj project "monkey on my back"

Thought I was done with scooters. Then I was overtaken by an air cooled RD400 and that smell hit me. Got goose bumps and started looking at YouTube videos of fast lambrettas and Vespas again.
Then this happened

So that's where I am so far. A bajaj with no engine or fork and an out of control scooter addiction.

You should have bought an RD400!!!! I'm only joking, I'd have a bajaj as base for a decent vespa older type frame appearance. Good luck!

Shortened a set of PX forks for it. First of the upgrades.

Fitted a YSS PK shock to the modified PX fork. Next job is making the Bajaj mudguard fit. Might have to cut and scallop the guard where the top of the shock is.

Mudguard modified to clear the shock.
Not pretty, but neither is the rider.

Have a blast on mine with the serie pro JL pipe next time I'm at your sister's on it. Lots of torque!
