Hi all, just wondering general price of a 1969 50s In good condition.

A mate of mine in Europe is asking me to sell it in uk. I can't find many for sale so struggling to tell him how to price it.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers Rob

I think the 50 frame is the same as the 90/125 so other than the engine they are pretty much the same. As to whether a 50 is worth more or less than a 125 i'm unsure, but a 125 can always be transplanted if needs be.

I sold a Vespa 50 (1970..ish) a few years ago. It was a very rare Vespa Douglas with pedals and had the original orange spray job. I sold it for about £600 , about 6/7 years ago (with a spare 125 engine). Apparently it's now in a museum in Italy ? I think the lad I sold it to, did a full resto' and sold it for £2000.

The best marketplace for small frame Vespas is Italy, rather than the UK.

A couple of years ago they were buying them for silly money, but I don't know if this has prevailed.

If it's the "small door" type (the one with the smaller engine door) they will be worth a bit. Would have thought it would fetch more in Europe to be honest.
