Two colour panel

Wanting to paint my side panels in two colours with celly. How can I prevent a ridge where the colours meet?

Do it in base coats and then clear coat it.

you can also buy fine line masking tape witch wont leave that ridge

use fine line masking tape, paint both your base colours then lacquer, you will still have a "ridge" so personally I "flow coat" it by dry flatting the whole panel back with 800 grit (when lacquer cured) then another 2 coats of lacquer that will get rid of the ridge and also protect it from scratching/chipping on the edge/join
