Hi, my mates sil gp150 engine is fine at high revs, but cuts out at medium/low revs. It's had new electrics, new carb, even a new piston. Any ideas please ?

if it runs fine at high revs then it shouldnt be fuel starvation, i presume you mean it dies instead of ticking over, could the choke still be on, check the lever is off and you have some freeplay in the cable, what carb is it ? could just need air screw adjustment,or idle screw adjustment or more air, or a smaller pilot jet, or needle adjustment, was it running ok previously or have you fitted another carb ? whats the history
