can any one tell me if there has neen an upgrade on the gt pull down chain adjusters,
Ive just tried to fit one and the two threaded sleeves have just snapped as was tightening
Them, i have been told that this has been sorted as it was a weak point
Any help would be great , thanks , Steve

I did the same I over tightened them,they only need to be about 6 8ft pound they don't need to be that tight ,Had mine in now for 2 year now no problems

The original hex type were 2 ft lbs which is why they were re-designed. The new type with two flat sides will do 6-8 ft/lbs which is correct for standard M6 10mm hex fasteners. If you break the new type then you would also have broken a standard fasteners too or pulled the threads out of the case.

Mine are the the hex type sure I did them to 6ft pound seem to be fine
