Hi All
Since buying my PX 200 some years ago the lock barrel occasionally used to come out with the key a bit but always went back in again and it never caused me any concern.
A while back, i returned to my parked up scoot and no matter what with the key in, the barrel would not turn and i was stuck with the steering lock full on. i thought someone might have tried it on with the scoot and had to have the scoot recovered.

I purchased a 3 barrel set and fitted it with the tang etc after removing the offending one the old fashioned way ;)
Starting up today in the garage the same thing has happened, after removing grub screw and rear plastic connection, no amount of pressing a pin up through the little hole to release the barrel is working.

Any ideas or is it a forks out job if i dont want to damage the barrel? I want to refit it right as i worry the steering lock my lock on while turning in transit (if this is possible)!!!
Tks
Gary
If you don't tinker, you won't learn anything, but you won't break anything either :)
