Ive just purchased an old skool cast iron Kegra tuned 225 cylinder (wosner piston) and 60/110 crank for an old skool repalacement build for my s2 heap Im looking for 200 cases ! Now i realise that the prices vary thats if i can actually get one ..
Which are the stronger cases firstly or are they much the same??
Or would i be better to use a smallblock and have them machined to 200 cylinder stud/spigot spacings and what price should i expect to pay ...Oiltek look the nuts with regards to carring out the work...
Thanks...
200 cases or Small block casing machining ????

I've recently had my engine done and was thinking 200 cases or have the existing small block altered to suit, contacted MB and was quoted £380 (what a joke!) I told him I'd be better off buying a new 200 case to which he replied yes if you can find one, well Rayspeed have them for £340 Harry Barlow has them for the same so it's a no brainier really.

Big difference between £180 and £380, robbing b@5t@rd. I never persued it with anyone else as I thought that was the going rate, remind me not to deal with them again!

Plus one Oiltek - Pauls a good bloke.
Plenty of 150 casings (although they are getting more expensive) - I used an immaculate early SIL one I had in the garage, so I ended up with a great 200 casing for less than half the price of a new Indian 200.
I'm looking forward to the UNI casing coming out.
