Looking to build a set up as per the touring spec on the get manual. Wondering what speeds this will give for cruising and top end. Going to use the 25 dellorto or is it worth going up to a 30. Have been looking at the scootopia clubman or is there a clubman style exhaust that would be better.

Cheers bruce

Personally I wouldnt bother with the 25mm, would go for 28 or 30 as there's more knowledge for setting up etc as well as parts and jets for them.

Also, good idea going for a clubman type exhaust Id say, definitely if I manage to get mine fixed :-( I'd never use an expansion again :-(

I'm no expert but wonder as your kit has a reed valve would it be worth looking at a Mikuni tmx27 just something slightly different to think about.
Scootopia clubmans are brilliant by the way.

Ask Eden or Rich Taylor on this site.
they make and sell them.
they will tell you the perfect set up.
look at some of Edens videos. Very impressive results.

I agree with Dornie.

Mine is running with a phbh30 through marchald filter, 58/107 crank, bgm clubman. My gearing is around 5.0. Fixed ignition. Matched cases to transfers and raised exhaust slightly.

Only around 14bhp but lovely to ride.

Initially I had phbl25 through airbox and ancillotti. It was under 10bhp and painful to ride.
