Harry Barlows your man. He does them using original 150 cylinders. The one I had was a stage 4, good torquey tune and not to racy and with good fuel economy.
I found mine to be very torquey right from the bottom all the way through but did run out of steam higher up but that could have been down to my clubman pipe.

I have a Stage 4 iron 175 kit. I don't know who tuned it but it goes really well. I run it through the airbox with a filter, a 20mm carb and a KBR clubman. I'm thinking of changing the airbox for one without the swan neck thing in it as I think that is limited the max revs a bit.

It's not racy - the power is in the low/medium rev range. Jetting the carb was a nightmare, but it's good now and returns 60mpg. I run it with a standard Italian Li150 gearbox and fitted a 16 front sprocket and it's much better than the 15. It'll hold 60mph on the flat. Power wise it keeps up and is probably a bit faster than my mates LML 150 with an aftermarket pipe, so what's that? About 9 or 10 hp?

Having said that, I agree with the post above, Harry Barlow's your man.

Can't speak for any of the kits, but I'd recommend getting an iron 150 barrel worked on, a cheap 175 kit can be a bit of a headache.

Yes buy cheap buy twice! Back at the start of the year when I was just getting in to the whole scooter thing and before I realised just how much shite there is out there I bought an alloy 175 kit from Beedspeed, upon assembly none of the stud holes had been drilled correctly resulting in the studs sticking out at all angles making it impossible to fit the manifolds, I Dident get as far as finding out if the port timings were OK as I sent it straight back.
And the other golden scooter rule I found out to my oun cost is never ever buy unproven junk from the many eBay chancers!

The Gori Sport 200cc kit is worth considering as it's somewhere in between the cost of a 175 kit and the many quality 185+ kits on the market. It's 66mm for small block casings, ie, it'll fit your stud pattern without any work to the casing. It's cast iron and beautifully made, exact opposite of the ebay alloy kits, it comes with a 22mm manifold so it'll work with your current carb and rest of your set up.

Good call corrado. My brother runs a gori race cylinder with 30mm carb and gori exhaust on his series 2 and it's been really good. Very cool running temps, good balance of torque, revs and economy with the ability to tour 2 up with luggage. Not sure about top speed...capable of overtaking buses and trucks on the motorway no problem.

I should have added this to my previous reply but I'm running a casa 185 kit on my own scooter. It's not as cheap as the many iron 175 kits out there and it wouldn't have the speed of a gori but it's been trouble free, very economical and has alot of torque. I'd recommend it. Not great speed wise, keeps up with trucks and buses on the motorway handy enough. Bit like a turbo diesel car. Very relaxing to tour with and isn't affected by hills or headwinds.

I've got Casa 185 kits on both of my scooters, neither are very fast, but as paul d said they're very torquey and very reliable. When I'm on the motorway on one of them I usually travel at about 50 mph that way most wagons will overtake at there top speed of 56 mph and you dont have to move out of the inside lane because your usually the slowest in that lane, untill you meet a steep hill when wagons fully loaded usually slow down.
