Trying to troubleshoot a Koso digital CHT guage. I'm a huge fan of Koso's digital EGT gauges and figured I'd try one of their CHTs. Unfortunately I can't get it to work.

It's a brand new Micro 2 and requires a 12v DC feed for the backlight and CR type battery for the LCD display. Took me less than 5 minutes to get the backlight to function (thanks to my full DC Wassel conversion), but I cannot get the LCD display to turn on, despite following the instructions and trying 3 different batteries. Before I contact the supplier has anyone had a similar issue? I'm not entirely ruling out user error

The culprit was user error

In my defense, it was not mentioned in the product's instructions, and the Koso's North America distributor told me it was such a reoccurring problem that they posted detailed instructions on their website.

Hope this saves someone from a headache in the future.
