RE-USE or bin bearings.........

If I have a seal issue or problem where the crank has to come out after a few miles it Seems a bit of a waste to keep throwing driveside bearings in the bin!!!!If I push out a crank from the drive side bearing I normally renew the bearing due to the pressure used to push it out.......sometimes the bearings spin as good as the new replacement ( there is others removed which are obviously damaged or worn)

SO DOES ANYBODY REMOVE AND REPLACE CRANKS ON THE SAME BEARING TO NO ILL EFFECT????????
or is it a fools gold

I've always kept the bearings and have taken cranks out on numerous occasions. Lately I have bought a crank extractor tool from MB, which I feel happier using rather than hammering out the crank. Once hammered one out, in a rush and couldn't understand why it wasn't budging, but I still had the mag flange in place

If the bearing is serviceable (good) then why fit a new one.
