BGM LED light for GP

A mate is buying the BGM rear light unit for his GP, when i fitted mine on my LI it was a doddle , what modification do you have to do on the GP light ? any one done it.

I had to remove the reflector and then file down the tops of the dish to create two flat surface, I used a silicone sealant to fix it. Sealants allow vibration better than glueing it.

I didn't have to remove the reflector, just siliconed it in after connecting.

Aren't there different back lights for GP's? I seem to remember buying a different light and just using silicone.
