has anyone experienced the same problem.
i have a new 28mm and a 30mm phbh dellorto carb and on both carbs my floats have filled up with fuel within a short rideout.
both carbs now need new floats.
the carbs have been sat at the correct angle.

had the same problem, with my phbh 30,with the white type floats, apparently the ethanol in the petrol knacks the glue, and they shouldnt even be supplied in uk carbs,i got a black float from wasp performance at a good price, these are more resistant to the ethanol now used in petrol.

Yes, I've seen this several times this year and was given the same story about ethanol etc. Problem is the floats look ultrasonically welded to me not glued. Also, it is possible to quickly repair them with hot water and superglue and....suddenly they don't leak up any more, it is irritating though.

is that putting some super glue in hot water then submerging the float in it.
will this not effect the weight
