Complete apart from top end. How much for UK and who to use. What's the weight?

also check the cover value if it got lost or damaged, a lot of courier companies have a £100 limit, unless you take added insurance.

Don't use My Hermes unless you're not bothered about seeing your engine again.

I sent a very heavy valve amplifier, more weight and cost than a lambretta engine.
I found a www which gave you a list of carriers which you could suss out the t&t's, costs, weights and volumes. The weight turned out to be irrelevant, volume was the thing, with a max dimention limit.
All signed for, tracked and treated well. I did take some care with packaging though - made a wooden crate and put in lots of padding.
Came back in same crate.
I'll have a look see if I can find the invoice.
As mentioned clean and drain first.
If you are sending it to a company, have a word with them see if they have any recommendations.

I found them through interparcel. I'm away, so the invoice - if I still have - it is not available ATM.
