Hi,
I went through the registration process with my series II last year and had it MOT'ed on the frame number as required and was issued with an age-related number shortly after (1961).
When checking the DVLA vehicle status page I can see when the tax is due but the MOT status is 'No details held by DVLA'. Should I just get the thing MOT'ed at some point (not currently on the road) now that it has a number plate? TAX is due in November, is this MOT status likely to impact tax renewal?
Cheers,
George.

Mine did the same.I entered the reg.no. and make and it came back as,"No vehicle that matched the data you entered could be found".The scooter was MOTed on the frame no.in Jan.2015,the registration came back with reg.no.and new MOT certificate with new reg.no. written on it.It has since been MOTed on the reg.no.and I was able to Tax it online. https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/

Got to be MOT'd to tax it. That shouldn't make any difference to you getting it done.
