JL or Franspeed Pipes

I was thinking of fitting another pipe onto my Rapido (race) 225 and replaced the stainless sterling that fitted at the moment in order to possibly gain a few more BHP. The Jl4 looks the best bet at the moment however I have seen the Franspeed around and I'm unsure about the difference if any regarding the Jl4 and the Franspeed pipe.
TBH I prefer the look of the Franspeed end can but was wondering if these are just rebadged JL pipes or is there any performance difference across the rev range, if so has anybody any data.
