Hi,
I am looking to replace my old and very used Taffy mark IV pipe on a TS1 225 running an SX200 gearbox with standard sprockets, 4.8 final drive ratio. I am looking at the chrome PM30 Fat Mamba or the stainless Devtour. I like the idea of the stainless pipe as it sounds like it will last and not get too shoddy looking, how do the chrome pipes these days stand up to our weather before they start rusting?
If anyone is running these pipes what are the pros and cons for each or any other suggestions? Looking for something that will last.
cheers
FG

got a chrome pm on my 225 ts1 running 5.2 gearing pulls very well in all gears i run a large body 30mm OKO carb standard reeds matched cases ive not taken it over 75 but will go a little more than that, great pipe fun round town good ground clearance ,mines old 10 yrs plus but the chrome is still ok not perfect but passable the ubend has some corrosion on though ,pete robinson now chromes PM,S pipes dont like the down turned bit on the end of the can though the older ones than mine were straight there a great price at £173 ish(uncrhomed) i like the old school look as well as i recone it suits the lammy well otheres are to long or stick out to far and "look" like there grafted on from another bike just my opinion
