I've a newly rebuilt px engine with a dr 180 kit on . I put stiffer springs in the clutch when rebuilt . It's fine when cold but becomes pretty un- rideable with clutch drag after 15 minutes when hot . It stalls when sitting still with it in gear
Any ideas

Is it a standard or cosa clutch?

First thing I'd check is clutch cable adjustment. If that doesn't help the cause then I'd suspect warped steels or plates that are too thick. Are the plates new? The fact that it works fine when cold rules out burrs worn into the basket or any issue with the brass bushing I think. If it was me I'd buy a new set of clutch plates and steels, piaggio if possible. Dr180 is a great kit but unless you've done a fastfrog porting job on it I'd say standard clutch springs are fine and easier on the arm as well! Good luck with it!
