More jetting fun!

Ok so I'm happily running around on my Scootopia sh/22 using a 45 pilot, number 5889-2 atomiser, 200 slide and 120 main jet but as I've never had the thing flat out yet I was happy with the dark brown plug colour and thought no more of it until I was advised that I really should put the 50 pilot back in, a 5889-1.5 atomiser and a 140 main jet.
Well I did all of this and it was just flooding it caughing and spluttering all over the place, oily wet plug and oil dripping out the exhaust...... So I put in a 135 main jet, splutters badly, doesent pick up as it should but runs all right at about 3/4 revs nice brown plug, put a 132 main jet in to try and clean up the low to mid range, a bit better but still splutters slightly with ragged acceleration and at 3/4 throttle plug is a bit lighter brown than with the 135...so I'm thinking if I did go flat out ide probably sieze or hole the piston so no good.
So we're do I go from here to get the 3/4 to WOT richer? Put the 140 main jet back in and use a lot leaner atomiser ? 5889-4 maybe?
Cheers chaps.
