Carb manifold touching frame

Just put the engine back in my Li 125 rebuild. Am using a Scootrs PWK cab and manifold and notice that the carb is touching the frame. Assume this is not normal? Guess I can have a few mm taken off the face of the manifold?
Thanks

If silent blocks have been fitted have the frame cones been changed for silent block ones. I have had two scooters were someone swopped the li type mountings for silent blocks without changing the cones. Silent block cones are wider.

If it isn't a series 3 you can fit a series 3 or adjustable length shock to gain a little clearance.
There's not a lot of upward movement at this point, so simply filing a millimetre or two from the top of the manifold may be enough; it was all I had to do when my inlet touched the frame tube.
Whatever you do, lift the back of the frame off the ground and see if you can slide paper easily between the manifold and frame. This checks that when the shock bottoms out it won't be touching.

Thanks all. I've put on BGM silent blocks and new later style cones so thought would be ok . I did notice that the cones were very flush with the frame "sockets" I'll maybe try the filing route 1st

Actually can't work on it for a couple of weeks anyway so will order some offset cones.

I'd go with your gut instinct and take a dremel to the manifold rather than use offset cones.

Maybe take a couple of mil' off the base of the manifold.
