Indian Vijay/GP 150 carb manifold

A bit of a problem with an Indian manufactured 150.
At some stage the originally fitted 'Mikarb' and inlet manifold has been removed, and an Italian GP 150 inlet fitted along with a 'Jetex' 22mm carb.
With this existing set up the inlet manifold sits too close to the engine mount, causing the carb to be fitted on an odd angle.
I assume the barrel studs are positioned differently to the barrels meant for the original style Dellorto/Spaco/Jetex carbs and manifolds.
Anybody got an easy fix for this problem?
