Just leave it in, You will need to make up a couple of shorting links at the bottom or top, it's entirely up to you.

In theory you could just remove one wire from the original loom and replace it with one wire from the new loom until you've replaced them all. If you're using a bog standard AC circuit then a simpler AC like, ie Scootopia / Casa is a better option as the MB one has extra wires if you want to run variations of an AC system or DC system using BGM or Wasell regulators to power accessories such as phone charges, Sat Navs etc. Take the new loom out of the bag and add a piece of masking tape to each connection and write on it where it each one goes.
