Insurance.

Hi all, my son in law is having trouble getting my RB250 insured by Carole Nash. I've lent it to him to use and he's having no luck even after speaking to a person via the phone. It seems to be beyond their grasp that it has a 250 motor but the frame is a 150 and as a result won't insure it. Are there any other insurers out there that understand scooters? Thanks in advance Pete.

T R Youngs- there is a scooterist on the team that understands scooters.

Maybe somethings getting lost in translation.
I have no problem with my 225 gp150.with CN
Insurers do have issues with policies for bikes that are registered to a third party.

im insured also with Carol Nash , gp200 with rb250+ , down as fully modified on a classic policy.

All sorted now with Carole Nash. I spoke to someone today and got it sorted. Cheers all.
