Just fitted new M B links /pistons & all the other internals series 3 fork to make the wheel sit in centre that is ok now, but now the gap between the fork link nuts to wheel rim is approx 4mm wider r/h side looking from front, everything has been replaced, anybody had same problem. Also the forks have a hole for a mudguard ,was this normal on a tv 175 1965, i thought series 2 had the hole for the mudguard ? :?

Thanks Ian

Is the gap you are talking about on the window side of the brake ? If it is,have you fit the half nut (Internal disc brakes only have a half nut on the window side)

Were the original links bent
have you checked your forks for straightness
the nut that holds the 2 halves of the hub together come in various thichnesses
if you remove the hub measure between the inner faces of the fork links it should be 127mm approx were the spindle fits through

Thanks for reply, 1 link looked pissed, fitted it back together the wheel is in centre, but as i said the inside gap from link bolt to rim was slightly out, put another washer on top of half nut seems to have improved, perhaps a whisker out, but rims might be out of true. Who sells different thickness washers.I was thinking of getting some scomadi forks, but have seen a few chaps have had problems, but latest batch might be ok ??

Many thanks
Ian
