Carb help needed!

Hi guys, just fitted a new Scootopia sh2/22 carb jetted as follows: 200 slide, 5899-2 atomiser, 120 main, 50 pilot and 50 starter, mixture screw 11/2 turns out.

I'm running a 175 iron barrel and Scootopia long cone clubman.

Although it runs very well and pulls well it just seems a bit blubbery just as I set off, am I right in thinking I should go down a big on the pilot jet or should I change the atomiser? Or just screw the mixture screw in a bit?

my other question is does the mixture screw control the mixture on the pilot only or the main jet as well ?
Cheers guys

I run two scooters with Casa 185 kits, both have sh2/22 carbs, ones a scootopia carb and the other's a jetex, both have 45 pilots.48 and 50 were too rich and caused them both to 4 stroke on slow running.

Ah that's interesting, mine splutters a bit at slow speed but only when cold then clears so yes I'll get a 45 in it tomorrow and see how it goes. Thanks .

I run a 45 pilot in mine. Not sure why they went with a 50.
