03 Px200, standard/untouched. This flat spot thing! When riding along, shut throttle off and put throttle on again ye get that flat spot/hesitate before ye get power, tried always with jetting and it's still there! Yes ye could live with it, But!!! Could it be a case of spaco vs delortto carbs, are delortto carbs better??? Any ideas

Does it happen when shutting off from full throttle or any position? I used to get this from WOT on my HB stage 4 and heard a story about it being caused by not having the plastic droop tray fitted. I fitted one and it fixed the problem.

Flat spots like you describe are usually due to running weak at low revs. If it has all the right jets then air is getting in somewhere. Usual suspects are one of crank oil seals, carb/carb box gasket or base gasket.
