He's either got no spine under all the bluff and bluster, couldn't raise enough support or has realised Cameron dumped them right in it and is playing a very long game.

Gove's stabbed him in the back as well.

Perhaps he has managed to work out what a clusterfcuk it is going to be. As you say Ross, likely playing the longer game.

Agree with Ross, long game, hopefully so long he's 6 foot under.

It'll be May then since Gove will never get sufficient support.
What a shame it isn't one of the architects of the current crapstorm.

It would be difficult to see him serving in any capacity in the future. He's come up so short I doubt he'd have anything to contribute. That's assuming there is even a Conservative party left.

After his open deception I doubt he'll even have anyone falling over themselves to give him TV appearances...Boris 'I have BAD News for You' .

Now Farage has quit as UKIP leader, objective achieved.
Funny that he is staying on as an MEP though. Better stay on the euro gravy train as long possible, eh?
He's always got his wife's EU passport to fall back on.
Five star hypocrit.

The whole referendum was a con.

It turns out that Boris wanted to lose, Gove wanted to lose and Corbyn actually voted against himself. It seems the only person who supported the side that they publicly campaigned for was Farage.

The public may have spoken but they did so based on a series of lies from people who secretly wanted the exact opposite of what they said they did.
