I recently bought a kickstart from Buzzmotosolo for my S2 fitted with an S3 SX150 engine . It works (sort of, but that's another thread!), however it touches the edge of the floorboard in its "rest" position, and doesn't seem to bear any relation to the cut-out.

Does this look correct?

I have a series 2 scooter with a series 3 engine and I too have got a kickstart lever to match from Buzz.My kickstart works and fits perfectly.Maybe your kickstart side floorboard is slightly out of position.I think the cutout in the floorboard is there so the kickstart lever doesn't hit on full compression of the rear shocker. You may be using a series 3 rear shocker(300mm)instead of a series 2 rear shocker(315mm)

Thanks Paul. The floorboard doesn't seem bent, and fits well with no gaps etc. The shock is the correct length for an S2. I wonder if they sent me the wrong kickstart. If it's not too much trouble, maybe you could grab a photo of your setup from the same angle?

Unfortunately I dont have a camera or phone that I can take any photos on.The kickstart lever is the right one,if it were the wrong one the lever wouldn't reach the kickstart lever stop on the case cover.

Just wants a little bending by the look of it.
Did you have to do that?

Or fit a longer buffer in the sidecase

It lines up fine with the buffer on the engine case, but it touches the edge of the floor panel when it returns. Oh well, it's not as if my panels are in perfect condition, I can just live with it. It was just that it seemed so far away from the cut-out that I wondered if they'd sent me the wrong lever.
