Just replaced clutch plates tv 175 3 engine, i noticed there is slight lift in the crownwheel this is with the clutch out, is this normal.

A certain amount of lift is acceptable. The exact amount can be found in Sticky's book. If too much is there you can lap the bottom of the spider on wet and dry paper. As long as it's taped to a flat surface it will flatten down nice and evenly.
