My understanding is that the fractional tube at one end is to be slid under the bottom shock mount with the stand then pushed to a vertical position, supporting the rear of the scooter while the rear wheel flat is dealt with. Is my understanding correct?
I do not understand how supporting the motor assembly and frame/body in the same relative positions they have absent a flat is going to help me slide the spare wheel and tire into place. In fact when using a jack under the shock mount I had to remove the front wheel to get enough clearance to slide a good tire/wheel into place at the rear.
Seems lifting the scooter body allowing the motor assembly and thus the rear wheel to dangle as far as the shock/spring allow would provide more clearance making the job easier.
What am I missing?
