Do you mean, you have noticed no improvement, or you have noticed no deterioration in performance? Is it better, worse or just the same?

I use a similar thing in my tractor, as do many vintage tractor owners, and its purpose is not to improve performance

but to cancel out the other side effects of the additives.

Tried to get some but no home stores in a 100 mile radius of York. It seems the north/south divide is alive and kicking

There are any amount of similar products out there. I've got a bottle of the stuff, but never actually used it. Can't remember where I got it from now. Just Google, ethanol - additive - petrol, and take your pick.
