Stainless stand feet pin removal tips.

Opinions stated for the above I've done countless drill bits, is the real answer fling it to f@@k and order a non stainless version?

I can't comment on stainless steel stands, but in the traditional steel stands, I have found that a lot of heat (oxy-acetylene) does the trick. The old pin pops out with a light tap, once the stand is glowing red.

Take the stand off, lay it over a vice jaws and drive the pin straight through with a punch. Nip the pins up on one end and apply copper grease when refitting.

Cut the feet off and use a good pair of mole grips..
