I've just raised the clip on my needle on TMX35 TS1-225. What's opinions (waiting for dyno trip, just want to make sure I'm running safe till then):

What would you suggest, lower clip again? It's on middle clip at the moment:
55 needle middle clip
320 main

I would agree with Adam, that does look a bit week but what throttle position were you using before you took the plug out? were you doing plug chops at steady fixed positions of the throttle or is that just after general riding?

Looks lean to me.........did you do a "before and after" pic ?
As said, was this after a little jaunt round town or some serious motorway riding ?

This was after a good thrashing around the back roads. I'll do some proper chops today, check it at different positions
I must admit though, the picture does look lighter than it really is

I don't know or use Mikuni, having bought for Amal and Dellorto over the years, so can't help you with this one. Soz.
Yes, your idea of testing at different throttle positions is the right way ahead as there is no use in having a perfect plug colour at one position but run weak at the next.
Good luck.
