Have rebuilt a gp150 engine with standard everything except casa flywheel. Thinking of travelling on it for the weekend. The only flywheel cowling I have is for a long fin fan but the casa is a short fin one. Have a suitable cowling ordered but can't see it arriving in time for the journey. Should I begin filing the cowling fixing holes to move it closer to the fan or is it worth risking the journey with the long fin cowling fitted as standard? The piston is a well used one that's in good condition so not breaking it in. Maybe 4% oil? Would hate to seize it after so many hours of working on it.

I've got a long fin flywheel cowel on a short fin flywheel.Instead of filing the holes bigger I've cut slots from the edge of the flywheel to the holes,I can now slide the cowel on to the correct depth and tighten the bolts.
