As title, would 1 litre be suufficient? (Cellulose)

The answer to that is; How good at spraying are you and how many coats do you intend to apply?

First attempt!

I used 2 litres of celly, also a first attempt, had a little left over.

Go with 2k paint. Much harder wearing and just as easy to apply. As long as you get the paint / hardener / thinners ratios right you can't go wrong. Just make sure you spray in a well ventilated area and wear a mask approved for 2k paint.
