Just fitting a front hub and the castle nut lines up with the spindle hole one side but not the other. it also seems to sit a bit to hi and above the hole in the spindle. it has a large washer underneath it. Any ideas?? Thanks.

What's the history behind this ? New hub/rebuild with existing/new spindle/etc ?
The nut certainly looks to short to be effective, is it the correct nut ?
What type/model of scooter ?
The more information the better.......
*edit* it's not a 20mm hub on a 16mm axle is it ?

some models use a castellated nut on the front and some don't - depends what it is ?
assuming the assembly is correct behind, the nut you have is not correct - if you put a split pin through it will be useless.
it appears that you need a normal deep nut, a castellated cover and split pin.

I think you might be right Gaz, seems to make sense. Didn't realise they did the castellated nut and also normal nut with a castellated cover.
