Which grease for bearings?

Having knackered my bearings in less than 1000 miles I realise that I may have used the wrong grease on the original build, I think I just used standard grease. I have managed to get this today from a car place and they reckon it will do the job, particularly on the Mag Side Bearing. What do you think?

HTB (high temperature bearing) grease is what I look for on the label. Be nice if you could get the actual temp range for the product. 140C to 170c should be fine.

+1 if it doesn't say high temp or give temp ranges then chances are it won't be, never been a big fan of comma products anyway, just my opinion of course.

I found the spec online and it's good for upto 150 c. Will have a look elsewhere this morning and see if I can find anything better.

The grease to get, used to be Castrol BNS but that's not available anymore so I personally use Silkolene RG2 but that'll be fine for Lambretta wheel and mag bearings.

Ended up going to Flintshire Scooter Centre, they gave me a latex glove full of the good stuff that they use all of the time on their builds
Engine rebuilt with new crank, bearings and seals, all torqued up as it should be (and greased properly!) Initial leak test showing no leaks. Not 100% sure I used the right sealent on gaskets though as there is so much differing opinions on the web. Ended up using Hylomar Blue, so we'll see after a few miles how it holds up, I'll have to be taking it steady anyway to run in the new parts.

Make a little hole in a finger and you can squirt the grease out
