Hi, i have just ordered a jockeys boxenstop for my gp200, could anyone tell me if they are easy to fit and do they work ? sorry i forgot to say it's one of those rear wheel brake kits.

They are easy to fit however they require patience and persistence to set up correctly.

I had to walk away and do something else for an hour when I did mine.

They work very well once you have set it up correctly.
Did you have to do that?

Yes indeed.

My issue was trying not to move the cam position when tightening it all up - it might just have been me being ham fisted. ;)
Did you have to do that?

I struggled :oops: rear hub was off and on like a whores draw's........

The rear brake was "better" in the end, but not 100%, maybe still not adjusted right :roll:

U must hold the cam still with a spanner when tightening the Allen bolt

Unless you have a spare hub with windows cut out you don't know for sure if the brake shoes are connecting to the hub in an even manner.

The Jockey's set up allows you to adjust them which is fine but how do you know they are working 100% correctly ?

Yes I knew that but as Mick1 said it's very much trial and error without a see-thru hub.
Did you have to do that?

Just received my brake kit, but no fitting instructions, but i got them off the net, i hope this isn;t a bad omen. Thanks for all your suggestions, i will be trying to fit them in the next few days and will let you know how i get on, not feeling so good at the moment, got a horrible cold, Mick.
